Welcome to Superhero Training for Nurses.

The rewards of working with patients are rich and fulfilling - but the challenges are significant and take their toll. The reality of working within our healthcare system is, for many, a far cry from the picture we imagined as we were working our butts off to get through school. Frustrating work environments, compassion fatigue and burnout are real problems we have to navigate as we try to continue to provide the best care we possibly can. It is so easy to fall into a downward spiral of exhaustion, blame and dissatisfaction with what we thought was going to be a career full of inspiration and compassionate caregiving.

Have you forgotten to give yourself the same level of care you give your patients?

Nursing is hard, and no doubt you have peers that are surviving on the scraps left over from the care they give their patients, getting by on cynicism, sarcasm and faked indifference. That strategy might work for some, but is it the choice you want to make?

What if you gave yourself the gift of self-confidence, optimism and satisfaction? What if you could learn to think about your problems in ways that left you feeling not only competent but excited and energized? What if your brain, even on your bad days, still reminded you that you were enough, and that there wasn’t anything in front of you that you wouldn’t be able to figure out?

I’m here to tell you that you can do all of those things. It is time to take control and be the nurse you want to be, and have fun doing it!

I can show you how.

My biggest hesitation [about working with Robb] was that I would uncover habits and traits of myself that were so deeply ingrained that they would be unable to be mended. Instead, I have become more self aware in terms of how my thoughts and emotions directly impact my overall confidence and attitude. I have achieved greater confidence in my ability to solve personal dilemmas and a perspective shift when addressing challenging situations by taking a more optimistic approach.

Robb is extremely personable and truly customizes each session towards whatever needs you have. I enjoyed the check-in emails and the optionality to also touch base with him during the week. I found him inspiring and highly motivational through this emotionally maturing process. I also loved that the sessions were via phone and therefore was easy to fit into my hectic schedule. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend him to others!”
