Welcome to Superhero Training for Nurses.
The rewards of working with patients are rich and fulfilling - but the challenges are significant and take their toll. The reality of working within our healthcare system is, for many, a far cry from the picture we imagined as we were working our butts off to get through school. Frustrating work environments, compassion fatigue and burnout are real problems we have to navigate as we try to continue to provide the best care we possibly can. It is so easy to fall into a downward spiral of exhaustion, blame and dissatisfaction with what we thought was going to be a career full of inspiration and compassionate caregiving.
Have you forgotten to give yourself the same level of care you give your patients?
Nursing is hard, and no doubt you have peers that are surviving on the scraps left over from the care they give their patients, getting by on cynicism, sarcasm and faked indifference. That strategy might work for some, but is it the choice you want to make?
What if you gave yourself the gift of self-confidence, optimism and satisfaction? What if you could learn to think about your problems in ways that left you feeling not only competent but excited and energized? What if your brain, even on your bad days, still reminded you that you were enough, and that there wasn’t anything in front of you that you wouldn’t be able to figure out?
I’m here to tell you that you can do all of those things. It is time to take control and be the nurse you want to be, and have fun doing it!
I can show you how.
I will help you with:
- Optimizing health, wealth, and freedom
- Navigating challenging relationships (personal and professional)
- How to set boundaries
- Resisting the siren call of the Martyr
- Learning to deliberately choose the strategies that are going to get you what you want

In the immortal words of Patrick Swayze, “Fear causes hesitation. And hesitation will cause your worst fears to come true.”
I think Patrick Swayze was being a little dramatic. But still. click the button.
